About Us

Gwynne is a true Counselor At Law.  Coming to the law from a background in education and advocacy, Gwynne listens to her clients, tailoring her legal counsel and advice to each client’s specific goals and circumstances.

A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 1999), Gwynne received the Dean’s Certificate and an Outstanding Public Service Award in recognition of her advocacy, communication and planning skills. Practicing in two large national firms in Washington, D.C. provided Gwynne a sophisticated level of training and experience that continues to inform her legal practice.  After the birth of her son, Gwynne’s family moved back to the Cape where she grew up, graduating from Nauset Regional High School in 1984.

At Wellesley College (B.A. cum laude, 1988), Gwynne majored in American Studies with a concentration on Families in the United States.

After college, Gwynne worked in education for several years, completing her Master’s Degree at Wheelock College (M.S. 1993).  Through her work at Project Zero, Harvard University Graduate School of Education, she co-authored a curriculum guide and has given talks at the local, regional and national level on school-age child care programs and related opportunities for academic improvement, as well as professional development.
